 Winter 2009/10 Newsletter
It's a wrap...The 2009 Kansas & Nebraska Deer season is in the books. We faced our share of challenges in 2009...it started with lots of rain & muddy roads, standing crops throughout the region, & ended with subzero temps that would get an Eskimo's attention!!! With all the adversity that Mother Nature could muster we still managed a Very Successful 2009 Season. We had a high harvest rate in both Kansas & Nebraska with lots of deer to see for all of our hunters. We had one of our Kansas Rifle Hunters take a giant whitetail that topped the 170" mark and numerous close calls with bucks in that class. We're already looking forward to next season and a SPECIAL THANKS to all of you that hunted with us in 2009!!!

Gobble Gobble...Spring turkey season is just around the corner and it looks to be one for the books!!! We had an incredible hatch in 2009 and the Long Beard numbers in our area are greater than ever. We'll start in March with Kansas & Nebraska Archery hunters and continue through the end of May 2010 with both archery & shotgun hunters...we look forward to seeing you this Spring!!!

Starting January 2010 Predators...With the overall health & abundance of habitat & game in our region the Predator population has grown with it, specifically our Bobcat numbers and Coyotes. If you'd like a crack at one of these elusive kitties, or dogs now's the time to give it a try. We'll provide the gear all you have to do is get here with your gun & we'll get you dialed in...Price On Request... |
Starting Fall 2010 Pheasants...Our WILD pheasant numbers in this region are at a level that we haven't seen in years. Many of our hunters have expressed interest in coming out and chasing some of these cackling rockets. On a limited basis we'll be offering hunt packages (meals & lodging included) for small groups of hunters. You'll be able to bring your own dogs or we can provide dogs & handlers.
