Trophy Turkey Outfitter KS and NE
Imagine setting at the base of a tree or kicking back in your Double Bull Blind. The sun’s just starting to make its way over the horizon… you hear a thundering gobble to your right… then another in front of you… a coyote howls in the distance and the woods come alive with big gobblers posturing for their place in the gene pool… Springtime on the creek bottoms of Northwest Kansas and South Central Nebraska is magical…The country side is littered with wildlife and Rio Grande Turkeys are the Kings and Queens of Spring!
We offer turkey hunting that caters to all levels of experience. From those just getting enrolled in the sport to seasoned veterans looking to fulfill their right of spring.
This action-packed turkey hunt takes place on thousands of acres of private land in Northwest Kansas and South-Central Nebraska. This is home to some of the highest density of turkeys anywhere in the US. If you’re a bow hunter, come take advantage of our early archery only season, which kicks off in Early April. It’s an exciting time of year to bow hunt turkeys, and it’s not uncommon to have long beards strut right into your decoys. We do our homework and will have blinds set in key areas. Gun and Archery Hunts available Mid-April through the end of May. A typical day starts early on a spring turkey hunt in Kansas and Nebraska. After your wake up call, some hot coffee and a light breakfast you’ll be heading to the woods. This can be a fully guided hunt, or if you prefer, your guide will turn you lose to hunt on your own. After your morning hunt get ready to recharge your battery. Because the days are so long, this time of year, we like to have our big meal of the day late morning or early afternoon. All meals are prepared fresh, and you’ll never leave the table hungry. After lunch you can kick back, take a nap, or head right back into the woods for another swing at a long beard. Then it’s back to the lodge for your evening meal, socializing and a recount of the day’s events. You have the option of repeating this process all three days because you can take multiple birds on this hunt (One in Kansas & One in Nebraska) additional birds are a game time decision!!! Our comfortable lodge has five bedrooms, three baths, dining area, kitchen, great room, and a locker room where you can change clothes and store your hunting gear.
