The 2019 Turkey Season is in the books in Northwest Kansas and South Central Nebraska … We had another Great Spring with lots of birds and action … No one left for home empty handed this spring and we averaged just under 2 birds per hunter!!! We’ll be running three and four day packages in 2020, Friday – Sunday and Thursday – Sunday, with built in rest days for ALL our farms throughout the season. With a limited number of weekends and limited number of hunters (four hunters per weekend) our calendar will and is filling fast. Our June 2019 Mahi Mahi Run & Gun Experiment in The Keys was Very Much a Success. Tracking down the right spots and casting various baits using light tackle proved to be as fun as it gets on the water in The Florida Keys. Along with Mahi I / We caught Cobia, Grouper, Jacks, Mackerel, Snappers, Sharks, etc., We’ll be back down the Second half of September and the First Half of October and of course all winter 2019 / 20 from Mid-December 2019 – March 2020 … Give us a give us a call, text, or email to book you next Florida Keys Saltwater Adventure!!!
Deer Season 2019 will be here in a little over two months, WOW … The old timers say time goes fast as you get older … I must be turning in to one of those Old Timers (NOT!!!) … With all the prep that goes into each deer season like keeping our feed / protein feeders full, mineral sites charged, spraying and mowing trails, cutting shooting lanes, adding and relocating stands, trail cameras, maintaining The Lodge, ETC., time does fly by!!! We’ll start our Fall 2019 campaign with Kansas Muzzle Loader then Nebraska Archery, Kansas Archery, Nebraska Rifle, Kansas Rifle and wrap up with Nebraska Muzzle Loader … Sounds like a lot of hunters, however, with our conservative approach, limited number of players, and a minimal amount of pressure on our resources, everyone that hunts with BGS has a chance at a Trophy of a Lifetime!!!
